Two entirely handcrafted models are available. The price is determined by the different methods of construction, the influence the character of the instrument, but in no way it's quality.
Each model is available in canadian western red cedar or in european spruce.
The red cedar produces a smooth and powerful sound, warm and broad, reaching maturity rapidly.
The spruce should be played for at least a year in order to develope its qualities of timbre, clarity and range of colours. It will conserve its richness for a longer period.
The brilliance and mellowness are independent of the type of wood.
Back and sides are of solid indian rosewood.
The fret board is made of ebony, the neck of mahogany or honduran cedar, reinforced with a strip of ebony.
The strutting and bracing are lightened to favour expressiveness.
A thin French polish, without doubt the most beautiful of finishes ; a compromise favouring the sonority, wich requieres a gentle handling.
